Today the German Transmission System Operators are terminating the announcement of measures in accordance with the Gas Crisis Prevention Guideline called out in March 2022, as there is no longer any special risk or disruption to the safety or reliability of the gas supply system expected. The transmission system operators will continue to monitor the situation closely and, if the situation deteriorates, will inform about the measures to be taken.

The available monthly auctions will be re-published on 13th of May at 09:00h. Concerned market areas are all TSO market areas that use PRISMA platform to allocate capacity on the primary market. Please note that any comfort bids that have been placed for the monthly auctions are rendered obsolete and have to be renewed after the re-publication on 13th of May. The reason for the unavailability have to be further analyzed.

Damage to a gas pipeline near Waldstetten (25.08.2014)

During a routinely maintenance measure on a gas pipeline, a gas leak occurred near Waldstetten (Ostalbkreis) about 3:40 pm. The gas pipeline was blocked by technical employees so that no more gas can exit. Action forces of the fire department, the police and the rescue services are on location routinely and oversee further works. Employees of terranets bw are on location to repair the damage. There’s no danger for human beings and environment. The gas supply of the surrounding municipalities wasn’t affected at any time.
