Structural characteristics

The high-pressure pipeline network operated by terranets bw, with operating pressures of up to 80 bar, spans a total length of approximately 3,000 km. Gas is transported via the terranets bw pipeline network to approximately 300 interconnection and off-take points.

The peak load in fiscal year 2025 was recorded on January 14, 2025, between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. During this hour, downstream network operators and industrial customers simultaneously withdrew a total of 28.0 MWh/h from terranets bw’s transmission network. The annual energy withdrawn in fiscal year 2025 amounted to 95,684,953 MWh.

We transport exclusively H-grade gas. The calorific value at the entry and exit points ranged between 10.12 kWh/m³N and 11.81 kWh/m³N in the 2025 fiscal year.
