Our mission is to provide a secure, reliable and efficient as well as climate-friendly and intelligent supply of gas. Even if our gas pipelines extend to neighbouring countries, terranets bw remains deeply rooted in Baden-Württemberg and Hesse.
Our strong connection with the region can also be seen in our social and ecological commitment. Between 2015 and today, we have supported more than 40 projects and organisations in Baden-Württemberg with a total amount of 95,000 euros.
By signing the WIN Charter on 22.01.2021, we have committed to our economic, ecological and social responsibility towards our customers, employees and the region in which we operate.
You will find our complete conceptual aims and our WIN Charter certificate in the download section:

Together with more than ten scientific institutes, over 70 business representatives and a 45-member advisory board with experts from science, politics and society, the German Energy Agency (dena) defined decisive fields of action and approaches to solutions to achieve climate neutrality in Germany by 2045. In total, 84 tasks were identified in central fields of action. The energy industry, the construction industry and transport were thereby considered.
terranets bw took part as a partner in this study, in particular in the energy module, and agrees with the core concerns set out in the study.

Together with the Bergwaldprojekt e.V., terranets bw supported ecological forest reconstruction in the Schauinsland forest area of the Freiburg Municipal Forestry Office. The project took place in autumn 2022 and focussed on maintaining forest and biotopes as well as promoting biodiversity and species diversity.
Together with the Bergwaldprojekt e.V., terranets bw took part in two ecological education projects in the municipal forest of Baden-Baden in April and August 2022, namely in the municipal forest of Baden-Baden and in the Rhön biosphere reserve. As part of the Forest Weeks for Schools, youths and young adults participated in conservation work in local ecosystems.
We also contribute to greater sustainability with smaller, everyday projects and here is just a selection:
