Information concerning bookings at RC Lindau

In compliance with §36, paragraph 1 of the regulation concerning the gas market model (Gas-Marktmodell-Verordnung) AGGM fulfils the role of distribution area manager in the market areas of Tyrol and Vorarlberg. Thus, with effect from Oct. 1st, 2016 AGGM will book the total capacity requirements at the exit point RC Lindau in the network of terranets bw. For this reason, as from Oct.1st, 2016, market participants – especially those who supply end customers in the networks downstream from the market area Vorarlberg or who act as presupplier – do no longer need a capacity booking at the exit point Lindau.

In the context of the matching of nominations with terranets bw, as from Oct.1st, 2016  AGGM will accept at the network interconnection point Lindau only exit nominations from the balancing group in the Net Connect Germany market area that is assigned to the balance group coordinator for the market areas of Tyrol and Vorarlberg. In conformity with the rules, as from Oct.1st, 2016 all quantities of natural gas for the supply of end customers in the market areas of Tyrol and Vorarlberg and in the downstream networks are to be delivered to the balancing group of the balance group coordinator for the market areas of Tyrol and Vorarlberg at the virtual trading point in the Net Connect Germany market area (operated by AGGM).

In this context, Mr. Gernot Haider (Tel. +43 (1) 27 560-28830, gernot.haider@aggm.at) from AGGM (Austrian Gas Grid Management AG) will be glad to answer your questions.
