Rellocation of capacities at RC Basel

terranets bw will reduce the exit capacity at IP Basel beginning from January 1st 2020, 6 a.m. for quarters 1, 2 and 3 of 2020 by 36800 kWh/h. The reason for this is a national obligation by the NRA to reallocate capacities for upcoming auctions in the remaining gas year if they were not completely booked in the last quarterly auction.

MAINTENANCE WORK AT THE IT-SYSTEMS OF TERRANETS BW

On November 29th 2019 from 6.15 a.m. till 6.45 a.m. a scheduled maintenance work at the IT-systems of terranets bw will be conducted. Within this period of time bookings of capacity at network points from terranets bw and registrations with terranets bw via PRISMA European Capacity Platform will probably not be possible. Also nomination and allocation processes, publications and EDIFACT-processes might be affected.

THE MARKET COMMUNICATION WAS DISTURBED

From 2.30 am to 8.45 am terranets bw has had failures with market communication processes. Especially the auction and booking processes via the PRISMA platform, nomination and allocation processes and publications did not work properly. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Uniform tariff for market area Net Connect Germany to be applied as of January 1st 2020

Pursuant to the ruling BK9-18/610-NCG (REGENT) of the Bundesnetzagentur, the tariff for annual firm freely allocable capacity (FZK) in the market area of Net Connect Germany to be applied as of January 1st 2020 amounts to 4,07 €/kWh/h/a. According to ongoing appeals procedures against REGENT the tariff may be adjusted.

No offer of capacity for entry points in this years yearly auction 2019/2020

terranets bw will not offer firm free allocable entry capacities for the gas years from 1 October 2021 on during the yearly auction on 1 July 2019.

This is required, because the capacity model for the merged german market area (planned start on 1. October 2021) is not finalized so far. The transmission system operators will endeavor to increase the marketable capacity in the following yearly auction by using appropriate measures.

PRISMA CAPACITY TRADING IS TEMPORARILY NOT POSSIBLE

Due to technical problems, capacity trading via PRISMA European Capacity Platform at the connection points of terranets bw is currently not possible. It is not possible to book any capacity contract at the moment.
